Lemon pepper wings are salty and tasty! Associate could talk more and tell you what comes with what in the drive thru line when you order. Does it come with fries or nah? It seem like they got a attitude but it is at the drive thru so I'm just basing it on that. They need some healthier side dishes like steamed veggies or a Damn salad to balance all this fried stuff.

I am a sucker for a good wing/fried fish place so I tried Hook's one night. I got fried fish, wings, and fries. It wasn't OMG AMAZING but it was good. Coming from Cleveland and having access to Shark's which is pretty much the holy grail of wings/fish places, my expectations are high. Hook's will do when the craving hits.

Beware the wings are addictive. Full wings sprinkled with what I call 'crack dust' because they keep calling my name. My wife loves the gizzards..I am not a fan but she requested I bring some back next time I am working in Florida. Love this place.

Nothing fancy - just fresh crisp and delicious fried seafood. The conch is tender, and sweet, the ocean perch has a slightly oily lovely texture complimented with the light crisp breading. Corn fritter nuggets are creamy and sweet with the flavor of fresh sweet summer corn. Fresh lemonade is the perfect compliment. Generous potions and friendly service top it off. Bon Appetite!

Wish they had some steamed selections. Good BBQ shrimp. Food was good, but this will only be a once a year visit. Too much fried food.

First time at Hooks... Love the fish. It's very light and very fresh. Prices are very reasonable. The fish had a sugar/salt/pepper mix on it which made it very delicious. Also had their hush puppies and conch fritters which were also pretty good. Will be eating there again on my next travel.

Went to the location in North Miami/Hialeah area. The food was ok, was not the best. I just got my hair done and was hungry and craving fried catfish. The fried fish was hot and crispy and made fast but when we asked what the difference between grouper and catfish, I was told it was "just like catfish only its grouper" - totally helped. I ordered Tilapia instead. We also ordered the chicken wings which were great, I mean you can't really mess up fried chicken wings. I will go back to this place when I'm starving and its the only place open. This place kind of reminded me of JJ Fish of Chicago.

Yummy!!! I am a chicken wing connossuer by nature. I have been to this location a few times now and have driven through each time. I have not gone inside yet, so I am not able to review the inside. The location is very close to Super WalMart on the corner of 441 and Oakland Park Blvd ( You down with OPB? ...lol I couldn't resist). Each time I have tried to bring myself to try seafood which is my favorite food but the wings have sold me and I am scared to stray. They are famous for their fried foods, I am not even sure if they have anything else. Everything is cooked to order so dont expect to drive through in 30 seconds or less. I have had the chicken wings 4 times....and one of the times, I had the lemon pepper. From 10:30-2 they have lunch specials and the chicken wings thenm are $7.99 for ten full and I mean the whole chicken wing. I have asked for mine fried extra crispy and they have nailed it every time! It comes with fries and it is a huge helping of food. Being the chicken wing lover that I am - I have noticed most places charge around a $1 per wing ( can we say rip off?) and you usually only get 1/2 of the wing- so when you get the whole- did I say whole? chicken wing for less- SCORE!!!! They sprinkle your food with some fairy dust which I don't know what it is ( I will ask next time) but all I can say is yummy! So the food comes out piping hot with hot sauce and I am all over it!! One other time I tried the lemon pepper wings. So here is the twist....you only get the 1/2 wing with the lemon pepper and they cost more! They were good but not all that and I will stick to regular wingies moving forward. More bang for the buck! I will sprinkle on my own lemon pepper seasoning if I must- haha! They have many other flavors if you care for less wings and more money...and they have all types of seafood, fish, shrimp, and conch. Service has always been pleasant and they have ASKED me if I need ketchup or is it catsup? LoL---I'm a fan for fried food- I'm hopelessly devoted to you....so far!

This place is some TRUE country ish! Fried fish in a drive thur???!? They have the absolute best fried fish in ft Lauderdale! ! They fry fresh fish per your order, so it's a bit of a wait, but it's worth the 10-15 min you spend in the car. The menu is expansive with lots of options for side, and they fry just about any fish u can think of and all very reasonably priced. #thatsall. I'm too busy eating to elaborate!

Tried this place with my little Sis. This place is lije Snappers but on cheaper. We had the fried conch and shrimp. The food was pretty good and nice portion size. I'll definitely go back and try the wings next time.

Freshly fried chicken wings and fries! Great quick meal if your in the mood for fried chicken. Not as expensive as Popeyes, and not as soggy as KFC. The wait may be a bit long because everything is cooked to order! The gizzards are also very yummy

was in the area for work and happen to pass by not expecting to find delicious fish. i had friend snapper. the snapper was fresh and the breading was very light and delicious. very happy with the decision of eating here for lunch
